The aim of teeth whitening is to reduce or remove discolouration of the teeth, making them whiter and more aesthetic. Over the years coffee, tea, red wine and smoking gradually stain the enamel – professional teeth whitening lightens this safely, while preserving the integrity of the tooth.
For the most beautiful, longest-lasting result it is worth starting whitening on a clean tooth surface, which is why we often recommend beginning with tartar removal.
Teeth whitening is performed by Edina and Ivett, who create a calm, pleasant atmosphere throughout with their kind, attentive approach – so you can relax while waiting for your brighter smile.

In-office whitening is performed by a specialist using a higher-concentration whitening agent. It gives a faster, more dramatic result and is especially effective for stubborn, more severe discolouration – even in a single treatment.
At-home whitening is something you do yourself, using a custom tray made at our practice and the lower-concentration whitening agent provided with it. It is a gentler, gradual solution that fits comfortably into your daily routine.
The result of teeth whitening typically lasts from several months up to one or two years. Its longevity is greatly influenced by lifestyle: regular coffee, tea and red wine consumption, as well as smoking, speed up new discolouration. Regular oral hygiene and tartar removal help to preserve the bright result for longer.
The price depends on the chosen method (in-office or at-home). At the consultation we assess the condition of your teeth and give you a personalised quote. You can find current fees on our price list page.
Is teeth whitening harmful to the enamel?
Whitening carried out professionally, under dental supervision, does not damage the enamel. This is exactly why it is important that the treatment is done at the practice or with a kit provided by a dentist.
Will my teeth become sensitive after whitening?
Temporary sensitivity may occur after the treatment, but it usually passes within a few days. For sensitive teeth we choose a gentler protocol.
Do fillings and crowns whiten too?
No. Teeth whitening only acts on your own tooth tissue; the colour of existing fillings, crowns and veneers does not change. We always take this into account when planning the treatment.
Is there anything to do before whitening?
For the best result it is worth starting on a clean tooth surface, which is why we often begin the process with tartar removal.
